Red Still Life with Shells

A wonderful still life with shells against a striking red background, oil on canvas by Swedish artist from the mid 20th century. It's set in its original beautiful oak frame with hand-gilded boarder. Signed in upper right corner. The painting is in a great condition, the frame shows obvious signs of wear and age, but overall with wonderful patina and charm.
