"Wrestlers" Relief Sculpture

A wonderful midcentury relief sculpture chiseled by the sculptor from solid, heavy stone. It depicts two male wrestlers in classical Greco-Roman style. The word "brottare", which is Swedish for "wrestlers", is carved in the upper left corner. In wonderful condition considering its age without damage. The piece is newly fitted in a custom-made cassette frame from black stained wood with a sturdy hook to be easily hung on the wall, or can be displayed standing as well.
